State-owned utility company FENAKA Corporation has sought from customers to forward photo images of their meters in order to prepare the bills for the ongoing month.

The company revealed that visiting households to collect meter numbers for electricity and water bills is not the safest thing to do, for their employees as well as customers, during a time the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) is sweeping steadily across Maldives.

As such, customers have been urged to send in clear photo images of their electricity and water meters along with the address, via Viber.

Customers may reach out to the Deputy Director of the company, Ahmed Najah through 9944416 for further information and queries.

Several utility companies including STELCO and Maldives Water and Sewerage Company have put this method into effect.

The corporation has been providing electricity, water, sewerage and waste management services to the island communities since establishment.
