Walk-in interviews for the apprenticeship program by Maldivian telecommunications company, Dhiraagu has been announced for January 7th.

The walk-in interviews will take place at Dhiraagu Headquarters and regional offices around the country from 14:00-17:00 on January 7th.

The minimum criteria for applicants require candidates to be between 18-30 years of age and to have completed A-levels. The criteria also state that the candidate must not have any formal employment prior to joining the apprenticeship program.

The apprenticeship program has been ongoing for the past 11 years since its launch in 2009. The program offers candidates an opportunity to develop useful job skills through paid work experience.

Dhiraagu claims that the program's effectiveness is evident by the success the alumni have gone onto achieve in prestigious companies.

Under the program, selected candidates have the opportunity to work in a variety of departments such as sales, marketing, procurement and property management, human resources, finance, information systems, networks, and customer solutions.

In addition to on-the-job work experience, the program also provides the apprentices with official courses and training, such as soft skill development training.

Dhiraagu further stated that over 200 apprentices have successfully completed the program.
