Maldives Immigration has opened a call centre.
The centre was officially opened on Wednesday, by Defence Minister Mariya Didi.
Speaking at the event, Minister Mariya highlighted that importance of the call centre in providing services to the people. She added that it is the incumbent government’s aim to ensure equal services to all.
Also at the ceremony, Controller General Mohamed Hussain stated that the Immigration has “always” received complaints of inadequate services from the public and added that the newly introduced call centre will ease this.
Further, Hussain noted that the Maldives Immigration’s goal is to use modern technology to work with the public, and to ensure better services to the people.
