Hassan Saaid has won bronze in the 200-meter dash in the ongoing South Asian Games being held in Nepal.

The Maldivian athlete completed the dash in 21.22 seconds on Wednesday.

The first-place winner from Pakistan, Uzair Rahman finished the dash in 21.15 seconds.

Second place was won by Sri Lankan athlete Vinoj Suranjaya, who finished in 21.19 seconds.

Saaid secured a spot in the finals after coming in third in the heat, completing the dash in 21.83 seconds. The race was completed by Pakistan's Mohamed Shahba in 21.64 seconds and Sri Lanka's Vinoj Suranjaya at 21.70 seconds.

The Maldivian athlete made history by bagging the country's first gold in the South Asian Games on Tuesday, after finishing the 100 meter race in 10.49 seconds.
