The first sitting of the third session of the People’s Majlis has been scheduled for Thursday.
Parliament’s Media and Communications Director Hassan Ziyau revealed this, adding that MPs have been notified of the matter.
However, an agenda for the first sitting of the last session is yet to be finalized.
While parliament had gone into recess on 5 September, it had scheduled several extraordinary sittings because several bills were left unattended.
The house had completed a lot of work during the past session, having passed several motions through fast-tracked sittings.
The last extraordinary sitting of the second session was held at the beginning of this week, where amendments to the Anti-Terrorism Act were passed.
The inaugural session of the 19th tenure began on 28 March this year.
