Local telecommunications giant Dhiraagu has officially launched its high-speed fiber broadband service in Nolhivaram island of Haa Dhaalu atoll.
The telecom company continues to establish its fiber broadband services across the nation at a swift speed and has already covered 70% of the country since 2016. Dhiraagu has thus far provided "Fiber to the home" services to capital city Male', Villimale', Hulhumale' and 39 other islands, and ADSL services to all islands with a large population.

Dhiraagu fiber broadband remains the fastest internet service provider in the Maldives at a speed of 100mbps and their biggest allowance is a package of one terabyte.
While the company is providing these services nation-wide, it also introduced a three-month long promotion package in November. The promotion provides free installation of fiber connection and a 25% discount from monthly fees for fiber broadband connections.
With the establishment of the service on Saturday and Sunday, households in the islands will receive its complete services.
Dhiraagu recently provided these services to some islands in Thaa and Baa atoll as well.
