EC members endorse final result of presidential election

All the members of the Elections Commission (EC) have endorsed the final result of the 2018 presidential election.
Member Ismail Habeeb tweeted that the five election commissioners have endorsed the final outcome of the presidential election on Thursday.
He also said that there were no significant changes from the interim results.
The opposition and its supporters as well as some foreign countries have expressed concern that the final result of the election has still not been announced.
Opposition coalition’s presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih won the election with 58.4 percent against President Abdullat Yameen, who received 41.6 percent.
