Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, the opposition coalition’s presidential candidate, headed to Baa atoll for a campaign trip on Saturday.
Senior members of the coalition parties are also accompanying him.
On Saturday, Solih is set to visit Goidhoo and Thulhaadhoo and hold a campaign ceremony in the island. This will be his first campaign ceremony held after being accepted as a candidate for September’s presidential election.
On Sunday, Solih will travel to Hithaadhoo and Dharavandhoo and on Monday move on to Kendhoo, Kamadhoo, and Kudariki.
Solih has earlier travelled to Addu and Fuvahmulah cities.
