EC publicizes revised voters list, complaint submission open till July 12

Elections Commission

The Elections Commission has publicized the revised list of eligible voters for the presidential elections slated for September 23.

The list was re-publicized after looking into all the complaints submitted to the Commission regarding the original list.

Four names have been added to the list, while 310 names were removed due to reports of their dead and 734 were removed due to reports of being underage. In addition, changes were brought to the addresses of 152 individuals, birth dates of two and names of 49.

EC’s spokesperson Ahmed Akram said that complaints regarding the publicized voters list can be submitted till next Thursday, July 12.
