Main opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has conducted a workshop that educates on ways to run a campaign.
Many who are actively involved in the opposition campaign activities as well as members of the party’s national congress and members of parliament representing the party partook in the workshop held at Salt Café’ and Restaurant on Thursday.
The objective of the campaign was to teach activists the tactics and the skills required to run a campaign.
According to the opposition party, although the workshop was conducted in capital city Male’, such training sessions are scheduled to be conducted throughout the outlying atolls in the near future.
An instructor at the workshop said that more tactics will be taught in the coming days when MDP starts running it’s campaigns jointly with the joint opposition parties.
Speaking to RaajjeMV about the matter, party leader Mohamed Nasheed’s campaign manager and Member of Parliament for South-Hithadhoo constituency Mohamed Aslam said that this workshop has proven to be useful to members of the opposition, adding that this workshop will pave way for a successful campaign.
