Ministry begins issuing tablets to students

The government has begun issuing tablets to students on Monday.
The Ministry also said that over 8,000 tablets have been given to teachers, as part of their initiative to develop the education sector by introducing information technology.
The Education Ministry said the schools are now providing information on the initiative to parents and students.
Over 70,000 tablets have been given to teachers and students as part of the government’s drive to digitize schools and teachers have undergone a course to receive information on the initiative.
The Ministry said that they have also upgraded the school networks.
