Muhyiddin School's Mohamed Yaish, 15, has won fifth place in the junior category of the Flyboard World Championship.
While this is the first time the junior category was introduced in the championship, athletes between the age of 13 and 18 competed in the category.

Yaish's coach is renowned flyboarder and local icon, Ibrahim 'Ibbadey' Hussain. He also competed in the championship, winning 17th place in the professional category.
Ibbadey had previously competed in the World Flyboard Cup, taking the 26th spot after competing against 45 athletes from around the world. In addition, he has also won third place in the European Flyboarding Championship.
