National University to begin third round of PhD programs
Those who get enrolled in the Management Business in PhD will get to do research on over 10 fields
The university is to open application opportunity on Monday, submissions will proceed till the 19th of July
Minimum duration of candidature is set at three years and a maximum duration at five years for full time and seven years for part-time

The Maldives National University (MNU) is to open the opportunity for interested individuals to apply for the PhD programs that are to commence in association with Malaysia’s Management and Science University (MSU).

The university is to open the opportunity for application from Monday to till the 19th of July.

This is the third round of the PhD program conducted by MNU in collaboration with MSU and admission requirements include having a recognized Bachelor’s and Master’s degree approved by the management of MSU and being qualified to demonstrate an ability to carry out independent research.  

Applicants are also required to submit their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees certificate and academic results transcripts along with their forms and identity.

Those who get enrolled in the Management Business in PhD will get to do research on over 10 fields.

Some of the research areas include international business, e-commerce, strategic management and globalization, human resource management, customer relationship management, marketing and social media, multi-media technology, business computing, Islamic banking finance, as well as law and education.

This program is conducted within Maldives for a minimum of three years and a maximum of five years for full-time students and seven years for part-time.

Those enrolled are to pay tuition fees to MSU in the entire amount during the enrollment period prior to each year in order to complete the enrollment procedure.

Students are required to make a payment of RM 13,000 each year which adds up to RM 39,000 for three years of tuition fees with a registration fee of RM 6,900 during the first year along with a thesis fee of RM 5,000 at the end of the third year.
