US Ambassador says he \'will not go around meeting with terrorists\'

United States Ambassador to the Maldives, Atul Keshap sat down for an exclusive interview with RaajjeTV on Wednesday, and emphasized that he will not go around meeting with terrorists.
The Ambassador visited RaajjeTV office in capital Malè City on Wednesday afternoon. He was welcomed by Managing Director Ahmed Saleem welcomed the Ambassador; who gave him a short tour of the office.
Keshap was accompanied by the Public Affairs Officer at the US Embassy, Jim Russo and the Assistant Information Officer Rachel O’Hara and other officials of the US Embassy Colombo.
After the tour, the Ambassador sat down for an exclusive interview with RaajjeTV, where he spoke about the current status of the bilateral relations between the United States and Maldives, as well as shared his opinion on the upcoming presidential elections, current political situation in the country and highilighted that the Ambassador of the United States will not go around meeting with terrorists.
