Maldives Police Service (MPS) has launched a manhunt for Mohamed 'Monaza' Naeem, 64 native to capital Male' City, following a Civil Court order to present him to court.

Police have been ordered to locate Naeem and keep him in police custody until he is required to be presented in court following which police have said that they are working to locate him.

According to the court order, the police are to locate Naeem and keep him in confinement until he is to be presented to court at 12pm on 4th June over a debt case currently ongoing at the court.

Police appealed on the public to come forth with any information on Naeem if attained and contact Police Custodial Department through it's hotline 9991442.

This it the third time a court order has been issued to locate Naeem. Police was previously ordered to locate Naeem in February and April.
