An individual has been arrested over a break-in at the Ahmadhiyya International School office.
According to Maldives Police Service, the man had broken into the office of the school and stolen a large number of cash in US dollars.
The 27-year-old man has been remanded for 10 days by the Criminal Court after being arrested on Tuesday evening.
Ahmadhiyya School office had been broken into on the 22nd of May and around USD 14,000 were stolen. Police have recovered USD 9,000 of the stolen amount thus far.
