Ministry looking for parties to service 33 ambulances
The ministry had shipped 28 ambulances to different regions of the Maldives in 2016
The ministry had also brought in several ambulances in 2015, including a paramedic ambulance
The ministry is currently working with STO to bring in more ambulances

The Ministry of Health has announced their search for individuals to service 33 ambulances out of ambulances being used in health centers and hospitals of outlying atolls.

The ministry request those who wish to take on the task of servicing the ambulances to submit their bids to the ministry and approach for more information if required. They also asked applicants to submit documents relating to the work to the ministry before the 31st of May.

While the ministry is in search of parties to service said ambulances, they had sent 28 ambulances to different regions of the Maldives in 2016. Almost MVR 5.6 million had been spent for this.

Furthermore, the ministry is currently working jointly with State Trading Organization (STO) to import more ambulances. 

The ministry had also brought in several ambulances in 2015, including a paramedic ambulance.
