The Ministry of Education as part of the government’s highly publicized efforts to further digitize teaching, has finished tablet computer distributions to teachers of all schools in Male' atoll.

While the tablet computer distributions had begun on Monday in capital city Male', the ministry said that they had concluded the distributions of tablets for all schools in Male' atolls on Thursday.

The ministry also said that they will start the distribution process of tablets to teachers of outlying atolls in the coming week and by the beginning of the second semester sessions, students will each have one for themselves.

The Education Ministry is also conducting special educatonal programs to train educators for the new digitized system that will soon be introduced in Maldives education.
