Authorities to allow 'daytime' cargo transportation during Ramadan
Cargo transportation will now be permitted from 6 p.m to 8 a.m
Transport of water and gas will be allowed from 10 a.m to 3 p.m

Authorities have decided to allow businesses to transport cargo during daytime throughout the upcoming month of Ramadan.

According to an announcement published by the Transport Authority, businesses will be permitted to transport goods from 6pm to 8am throughout Ramadan.

As such, gas, water and goods lesser than 350 kilos can be transported during daytime from 10am to 3pm.

The announcement also stated that delivery and trasport of cargo between 3pm and 6pm will be prohibited.

Last month, authorities had decided to restrict cargo transportation in the capital- as of April 1, local transporters can only lift merchandise, ranging from bottled goods, food items, and construction material, for delivery and storage between the hours of 6pm to 6 am.
