The Maldives Police Service has apprehended two individuals for alleged robbery of the Gateway International School in Hulhumalé, the capital city’s urban extension.

The 37 and 20-year-olds were arrested at about 03:40am on May 8th, as they attempted to leap over the school’s outer walls and escape.

The aforesaid 37-year-old was arrested near ‘Hithigasmagu 3’ while the younger suspect was arrested near ‘Flat 48’.

Officers had found a mobile phone, a bag, a mask, a pair gloves, and tools near the area they had been spotted at.
