Former President Mohamed Nasheed has called on authorities to release Ibrahim Labaan Shareef, a prominent footballer and Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) activist.
Nasheed made this appeal through a post on his Twitter account on Tuesday, claiming that Labaan is being kept in incarceration unjustly.
