Former Deputy Managing Director at the Maldives Road Development Corporation Ahmed Mamdhooh
Ahmed Mamdhooh has been appointed as Deputy Minister at Ministry of Economic Development.
According to the President's office, Mamdhooh had been appointed as Deputy Minister on Tuesday.
Mamdhooh previously held the post of Deputy Managing Director at the Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC).
Mamdhooh's appointment comes at a time when government talks are underway to abolish MRDC.
