Maldives Police Service has once again begun searching for Mohamed 'Monaza' Naeem who was State Minister at the Ministry of Home Affairs during former President Mohamed Nasheed's administration.

The search was issued on Naeem following a case filed at Civil Court.

In a statement publicized by the police with a photo of Naeem, it stated that 64-year-old Naeem native to Noonu atoll Velidhoo island, is being sought under a case filed at the civil court regarding the case's proof of debt.

The police service had been ordered to present Naeem to Civil Court at 10:15 am on the 17th of April.

Police had previously appealed to locate Naeem under the same case on the 13th of February.
