Narcotics seized from a minor in a police operation conducted on the night of the 07th of April
A minor has been arrested under an operation conducted by Seenu atoll Gan island police station for allegedly importing narcotics into the island.
The police media official said that the minor was arrested following an operation conducted on April 7 at around 01:00am upon receiving an intelligence report that narcotics were being imported to Gan via a flight travelling to the island from capital Male' city.
Police had discovered and confiscated two large rubber packets of what are suspected to be narcotics upon searching the under-aged boy.
