Thulhaadhoo brings lacquer art as gifts to RaajjeTV staff

Residents of Thulhaadhoo island have gifted RaajjeTV staff high-priced and unique lacquer pens to express their heartfelt appreciation for the station's hard work.

In a special ceremony held to commemorate this special receival, Islanders had joined in gifting each employee with the unique lacquer work pens early Tuesday evening.

In addition to the pens, Thulhaadhoo islanders had also gifted an artistic piece of lacquer work, a vase to use in programme sets inside the station studio.

Speaking in the event to mark this special occasion, Ibrahim Fulhu who had lead this creation said that this gift represents their appreciation for the hard work RaajjeTV employees exert into bringing news to the people and to encourage the station to stay resolute in their work.

Ibrahim Fulhu further said that they very keenly follow the channel's programs and the island has massive support for the channel. He expressed his hope for the station to stay resolute for the people in coming days as well.

Speaking in the ceremony, RaajjeTV's COO Hussain Fiyaz Moosa expressed gratitude on behalf of all employees for the priceless gift and highlighted the immense delight it brings in knowing that the station's hard work is appreciated.

Thulhaadhoo citizens bring lacquer art as gifts for RaajjeTV staff

Fiyaz added that RaajjeTV will stay steadfast in their work and will not back down in the face of obstacles.

While the lacquer pens are estimated to be priced at roughly MVR 60k - each costs between MVR 750 and 1000. More than MVR 100k is estimated to have been spent by the islanders in the creation of these works of art.

RaajjeTV wholeheartedly accepted these remarkable gifts and on behalf of all of it's employees, sends its appreciation and gratitude for them along with the love and support received by many from different parts of the nation.
