The elderly man injured in an accident at Addu city’s infamous causeway, the ‘link road’, has succumbed to his injruies.
The 60-year-old man had been receiving treatment at the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU).
Abdulla Manikfaan, resident to Dhamburuvaage in Feydhoo district of Addu, was riding on his bicycle when a car lost control and collided into him, on Sunday night.
The accident occured on ‘linkroad’, near the harbour area in Feydhoo.
