Ihavandhoo MP Mohamed Abdulla is to be summoned under allegations of bribing fellow parliament members regarding the Supreme Court's February 1 ruling.
Mohamed has been summoned to present himself to the police headquarters at 04:00pm Thursday.
The allegations that are raised against the MP are bribery charges, attempting to change procedures run by government institutions by offering bribes to employees and for trying to exert influence over government workers.
Mohamed was summoned to police HQ on Wednesday as well. He was arrested on Sunday under the State of Emergency by two plainclothes officers. He has since been released.
