Officers of Maldives Police Service have conducted a search on North-Galolhu constituency Member of Parliament Eva Abdulla’s shared apartment with husband Ahmed ‘Saabe’ Shahid’s, early Thursday evening.
Shahid was among the four arrested earlier on Thursday morning, and was taken for the raid on his apartment along, with the police officers.
Henveiru Sisilhiya where MP Eva and husband Shahid reside in was searched by the police at around 07:30 Thursday evening. Shahid's lawyer, Hisaan Hussain was present at the time of the raid.
Sources reported to RaajjeMV that the search concluded with police having found nothing of suspicion. They had taken an old iPad that belonged to MP Eva's mother, according to her tweet late Thursday night.

Arrested along with Shahid earlier on Thursday was, former Member of Parliament Ilyas Labeeb, MDP’s National Council member Hassan Ahmed and Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) activist Hussain Ilham.
Speaking at a press conference held after sundown on Thursday, Police Spokesperson Ahmed Shifan stated that all of them had been arrested under the accusations of allegedly conspiring to wreak havoc and create chaos in capital Male’ city, for conspiring to overthrow the government and obstruction of police duties.
