The president's office has opened opportunity for interested individuals to apply for membership at the Broadcasting Commission of the Maldives.

The MBC had opened the opportunity following the end of one of the members' tenure.

Broadcom's chief Mohamed Aslam's tenure at the commission ends on the 14th of March, Wednesday.

While the duration of a tenure at the commission is 5 years. Aslam was appointed as a member of the Commission upon former President of the Commission Badhru Naseem's end of term on the 14th of March 2013.

The deadline for the application ends at 10:00 am on the 12th of March, Monday.

Current members at the Commission include Mohamed Shaheeb, Zeena Zahir, Aminath Sah'rath Izzath, Fathmath Zaina, Ismail Safwan and Hassan Nabaah.
