Member of Parliament for Kendhoo constituency, Ali Hussain has been summoned to the Supreme Court of the Maldives.

According to the notice, he is being summoned for the over 'a matter of the Supreme Court' and is ordered to present himself at 01:30 pm on 4th March. No additional details were given.

MP Hussain said that he is not aware of why he is being summoned to the Supreme Court.

While the SC has summoned MP Hussain, the court had previously suspended the member from his attorney rights in the courts of Maldives.
