Arrested on Friday near MDP haruge area
Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) National Council member Ahmed Adhuham.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) has arrested Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) National Council member Ahmed Adhuham.
MDP Secretariat reported that Adhuham was arrested at around 2pm on Friday, mere hours before the planned warm up rally. He was arrested from MDP haruge area.
MDP had called for his immediate release.
Police is yet to confirm any arrests.
