WAMCO to construct 10-storey office building
The building will be used as an administrative office by the corporation
WAMCO began managing waste collection in the capital city and its regional districts including Hulhumalé and Villimalé in April
The corporation first began giving out services in December, 2016

The Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has announced plans to construct a 10-storey building and called for expressions of interest in making design details.

Those interested must send proposals to WAMCO’s headquarters in capital city Malé. The proposals will move forward to bidding on November 2nd.

The building will be used as an administrative office by the corporation.  

WAMCO began managing waste collection in the capital city and its regional districts including Hulhumalé and Villimalé in April before having banned private waste collectors in July.

The corporation first began giving out services in December, 2016.
