Pakistan clinches Diamond Jubilee tournament title
Pakistan has clinched the Diamond Jubilee tournament title with an undefeated record, securing their victory following a final win. Throughout the league stage, the team maintained their dominant form by winning two matches and drawing one.

Pakistan has emerged as the champion of the Diamond Jubilee International Tournament held in the Maldives.
Pakistan clinched the tournament championship after defeating Afghanistan in the final on Wednesday night. In the title match held at the Galolhu National Stadium, Pakistan secured a 2-0 victory over their opponents. Pakistan took the lead with a goal in the first half and sealed the win with a second strike in the second half.
Pakistan took the lead in the 24th minute of the match with a goal scored by Shayak Dost. Following Pakistan's opening goal, Afghanistan pushed hard to find an equalizer. However, they were unable to capitalize on any of the opportunities they created.
Pakistan scored their second goal during stoppage time at the end of the match. The goal was completed by Haroon Rasheed. He had entered the game as a second-half substitute.
With this victory, Pakistan has clinched the Diamond Jubilee tournament title with an undefeated record. During the league stage, Pakistan secured two wins and one draw across their three matches. This achievement marks Pakistan's most significant success in football in 35 years.
Four nations participated in the tournament organized by the Football Association of Maldives (FAM) to mark the 75th anniversary of Maldivian football. In addition to the Maldives, the competing teams included Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh. During the league stage of the tournament, the Maldives failed to secure a victory in any of its three matches, suffering two defeats and managing a single draw.
