President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has granted visa-free entry to Maldivian ordinary passport holders traveling to the country.
The Azerbaijani local media has reported that President Aliyev has ratified the necessary legislation to implement an agreement aimed at facilitating visa-free travel between the two countries.
The agreement, which was signed on 24 September 2025, in New York, U.S., is expected to simplify travel for citizens of both nations.
