Bank of Maldives (BML) has welcomed this year’s batch of interns during a dedicated ceremony for its annual internship program.
The country’s national bank is hosting a total of 25 interns this year, comprising both Graduate Interns and TechStart Interns.
The TechStart Internship, a new category introduced this year, is specifically designed to offer unique opportunities for students studying in the IT field.
This 12-month program will allow participants to work across various business units, departments, and branches of the Bank, thereby enhancing their experience and skill sets.
The ceremony also marked the graduation of participants who successfully completed last year's Internship Program.
Notably, some of these former interns have since been offered permanent employment within the bank.
Since its inception in 2018, the BML Internship Program has provided valuable experiential opportunities to a total of 77 students to date.
