Civil Court: JP case thrown out of after Party had not attended hearings
Civil Court has thrown out the case filed by Jumhooree Party over the order by Elections Commission (EC) not to use the flag and logo of the Party.
The issue first rose in June, after EC ordered the Party not to use the logo and flag, stating that it mimicked the flag used by the President.
The case was kicked out after the Party had not attended the session held on the 13th of this month, as per the procedure.
