Dhiraagu has launched A+E Network channels, for the first time in Maldives.

The network was launched at a special press conference on Monday evening, where Dhiraagu and A+E Networks exchanged a plaque to commemorate the debut.

At the conference, Dhiraagu's Director Business Development, Ahmed Maumoon provided an overview of the new channels, while expressing confidence "that the channels' content would prove highly popular" with the customers.

Also speaking at the conference, A+E Network's Deputy Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Prem Kamath said that they are "proud" to broaden the network's footprint in Maldives, adding that they look forward "to providing high quality programming to Maldivian viewers".

Under their agreement with A+E, DhiraaguTV will broadcast all five of the network's entertainment brands; HISTORY™, Lifetime™, FYI™, Crime + Investigation™ and H2™ in high-definition.

A+E is the home of the most prestigious programming content on tv, including multiple award-winning TV shows.
