Young Maldivian players to compete in BWF Junior tournament
Four young players from the Maldives will compete in the tournament; Laiba Ahmed Mahloof, Aishath Amra Mohamed, Kiyan Adil Mohamed, and Aishath Yoomi Ali Ahmed.

Young players from the Maldives have departed to compete in a junior tournament organized by the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
The tournament, which is the BWF Banthongyord Yonex Pathumthani International Series, will be held in Thailand from December 9 – 13.
Four young players from the Maldives will compete in the tournament; Laiba Ahmed Mahloof, Aishath Amra Mohamed, Kiyan Adil Mohamed, and Aishath Yoomi Ali Ahmed.
Among them, Amra and Kiyan are set to compete in the Under-15 and Under-17 categories. Laiba and Yoomi are competing in the Under-13 category.
Before departing for the tournament, Laiba said that this is the first time she is competing in a BWF tournament, and she is very excited about it. She also said that the tournament will be very challenging, and she hopes to gain good experience from the tournament.
