Maldives loses to Uzbekistan in fourth match
Maldives has lost all four games played so far. Uzbekistan beat the team in straight sets.

Maldives has lost its fourth game in the CAVA Men’s Volleyball Championship.

In the team’s fourth match of the CAVA Men’s Volleyball Championship played on Tuesday, Maldives was defeated by Uzbekistan.

Maldives lost to Kyrgyzstan in their first match on Friday. Kyrgyzstan beat Maldives in straight three sets. Kyrgyzstan won the sets with scores of 25 – 15, 25 – 13 and 25 – 16. The winning team showed an impressive performance in the game. However, Maldives was unable to show their best performance.

Maldives lost its second game to Turkmenistan in five sets, on Saturday. Turkmenistan won the match with three sets to two.

The team lost to Afghanistan in their third match played on Sunday. The island nation lost to Afghanistan in straight sets. Afghanistan won the sets with scores of 25 – 19, 25 – 18 and 28 – 26.

Maldives suffered another loss, this time against host country Uzbekistan in straight sets as well.

Uzbekistan won the sets with scores of 27 – 25, 25 – 14 and 25 – 20.

Since the beginning of the first set, Uzbekistan showed a good performance.

Maldives managed to equalize the score even though Uzbekistan was in the lead.

After that, Maldives took the lead in the set and even had a chance to win it.

However, Maldives couldn't make the most of the opportunity and Uzbekistan came from behind to win the set.

At the start of the second set, Maldives performed well but at a certain point, Uzbekistan took the lead.

Towards the end of the set, Uzbekistan even took an eleven-point lead.

Maintaining that lead, Uzbekistan won the second set as well. Uzbekistan led the third set as well.

Six countries are competing in the CAVA Men’s Volleyball Championship; Maldives, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and the host country Uzbekistan.

Maldives’ final match will be played on Wednesday, against Tajikistan.
