Dr. Abdul Muhsin has been appointed as a Minister of State at the Ministry of Education.

He was appointed to the post on Monday, by President Abdulla Yameen.

Dr. Muhsin, who has served the nation for over 22 years, had previously served as a Permanent Secretary at the Ministry, Vice President of the Civil Service Commission and the CEO of the Maldives Qualification Authority.

With the addition of Dr. Muhsin, the Education Ministry now has 10 state ministers.
