First Couple departs for Umrah pilgrimage
They are performing Umrah on the hospitality of the Saudi King

The First Couple has departed to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Umrah pilgrimage.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajida Mohamed departed to Saudi Arabia on Friday.
They are travelling to perform Umrah on the gracious hospitality of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Head Imaam of the Islamic Center Sheikh Mohamed Latheef, Chief of Staff the President's Office Abdulla Fayaz, Minister at the President’s Office for Presidential Affairs Ali Arif and Minister at the President’s Office Abdulla Nasir are accompanying the president on the Umrah trip.
The first couple’s delegation is travelling on an aircraft arranged by the Saudi government.
