First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has attended the closing ceremony of the ‘Thireehaa Ranthari’ Quran Competition.

Organized by the Thireeha Institute for its students, the competition was divided into different age groups.

The ceremony was held at the Islamic University Hall on Friday.

The ceremony saw FL Sajidha conferring prizes and trophies to the students who secured the first, second and third positions in the recitation in the ‘Quran in hand section’ and the recitation ‘from memory section’.

Awards were also conferred for first, second, and third winners of the entire competition.

The ‘Thireehaa Ranthari’ Quran Competition was carried out for the students studying at the Thireehaa institutes.

A total of 1,500 students competed.
