Ooredoo Maldives has announced a partnership with Qibla Hajj and Umrah Group for their activities planned for the ongoing fasting month of Ramadan.
In a press release issued on Monday, the telecommunications provider revealed that as part of the partnership, two Umrah trips will be offered to Ooredoo customers, by Qibla Hajj and Umrah group.
As part of a three-way collaboration between the telecom giant, Peace Foundation and Qibla Hajj and Umrah group, a ‘Roadha Quiz’ was announced on social media.
Customers will be required to answer the questions posted on Ooredoo’s social media handles, to participate in the quiz.
Ooredoo revealed that the quiz carries the purpose of enhancing the knowledge of their customers.
The grand prize has been promised to the customer who answers correctly to the highest number of questions, at the end of Ramadan.
Further, Ooredoo revealed that a draw will be taken to decide the winner if more than one customer is eligible for the grand prize.
Qibla Hajj and Umrah group has promised an Umrah trip to the winner of the quiz, as the gift partner.
Director of Qibla Hajj and Umrah Group Ibrahim Ashwaag expressed hope to see the Umrah trip serving as a good compensation for customers to take part in the quiz.
Highlighting that they strive to partner with companies that work to enhance religious knowledge, Ashwaag added that they believe that the quiz will “dissipate pearls of wisdom” to Ooredoo customers.
In addition to this, Qibla Hajj and Umrah group has offered an Umrah trip for two, to the winner of another activity titled ‘Atholhu Dhuvun’ which translates as ‘Atoll Run’, slated for March.
The run is the first-ever casual runner game made in the Maldives, according to Ooredoo.
This prize is promised to the player who comes first on the leaderboard of the game by 11:59pm on 31 March 2024.
