Members of Mulaku Atoll Council have urged the administration to accelerate the completion of ongoing resort projects in the atoll.
This was done during a meeting President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu held with the island’s council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) members on Wednesday.
As such, the meeting saw discussions revolving around the development plans envisioned for the atoll.
Council members shed light on the need to enhance healthcare services at the atoll hospital, advocated for the establishment of a dedicated picnic island within the atoll and shed light on the importance of introducing ATM services across the atoll.
In addition to this, the councilors expressed keen interest in observing an improvement to the transportation options to capital Malé City.
