President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has offered felicitations on the commemoration of the Chinese Spring Festival and New Year.

The Maldivian leader sent messages of felicitation to the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, and the Premier of the State Council, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee Li Qiang, on the occasion of the Chinese Spring Festival and New Year.

In his message to the president of China, Muizzu offered warm felicitations and heartfelt wishes to the president, government and friendly people of China.

He also shed light on the long-standing friendship and partnership enjoyed between China and Maldives over the years.

Muizzu highlighted that the partnership is based on mutual respect and trust.

Further, he expressed confidence in strengthening bilateral ties by continuing to collaborate with the Chinese government in the future.

In his message to the Premier of the State Council, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of CPC’s Central Committee, the Maldivian leader offered warmest greetings and reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Maldivian government, to expand and strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Muizzu went on to wish good health, happiness, and continued success for the president of China, the premier as well as the people of China.
