Three more political figures have been appointed to the Ministry of Tourism.
The appointments were made on Monday.
The tourism ministry revealed that appointed were Meenas Shaugy, Ahmed Shifaz and Haris Mohamed.
Meenas and Shifaz were appointed as Deputy Ministers at the ministry and Haris was appointed as a Minister of State for Tourism.
According to information publicized by the President’s Office on their official website, there are currently 10 deputy ministers and two ministers of state at the tourism ministry with the most recent appointments.
There has been widespread criticism and concern raised by the public, over the government offering political posts to several individuals.
