Police have confirmed Nadheem 'Nadey' Abdul Rahman's death

Nadheem was attacked by a group of masked assailants on Thursday evening

23-year-old Nadheem 'Nadey' Abdul Raheem, who was stabbed on Thursday, has passed away.

Maldives Police Service has confirmed the matter to RaajjeMV.

Nadheem was stabbed in the head while he was in Terminal Café in the capital Malé City at around 6:30 pm on Thursday, by a group of masked assailants.

MPS, on Friday, revealed that no arrests had been made in connection to the stabbing.

Police, who is currently investigating the matter, did not disclose any further information.

Gang related violence have been on the rise in the capital city.
