The President and First Lady host the inaugural reception for visiting dignitaries
The newly inaugurated First Couple of the Maldives has hosted the inaugural reception for visiting dignitaries.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and his spouse, First Lady Sajidha Mohamed hosted the inaugural reception at Kurumba Maldives on Friday evening.
The inaugural reception was attended by dignitaries who attended the swearing-in ceremony of the new president and vice president, held at the Republic Square on Friday evening.
Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef and his spouse, Aishath Afreen Mohamed were also in attendance.
Former Presidents, Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Aslam, Chief Justice Ahmed Muthasim Adnan, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, members of the People’s Majlis and high-level foreign diplomats also attended Friday’s banquet.
