Pres. Solih meets President-elect Dr. Muizzu
The President said he would try to make the transition process as smooth as possible
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, has met with the President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

President Solih met with Dr. Muizzu at the President's Office, on Sunday.
During the meeting President Solih said he accepted the people's decision and would take all necessary steps in accordance with the law, which defines the rules to be followed during the transition process.
The President said he would try to make the transition process as smooth as possible.
President Solih has also formed special committee to oversee the transition process.
The committee, which was formed on Sunday, will be headed by Secretary, Corporate Services, at the President's Office, Hussain Amir.
The President said that Chief of Staff Al-Ustaz Ali Zahir will oversee all aspects of the transition process on behalf of the Presidency and a team of relevant professionals from the Presidency will work to provide necessary assistance to the President-elect's office.
During the meeting, President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu said that he was pleased that President Ibrahim Mohammed Solih had called him to accept the results of Saturday's election and expressed his gratitude to the President.
