The newly extended healthcare center of Vaikaradhoo island of Haa Dhaal atoll, has been unveiled.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated the new extension of the Vaikaradhoo health center initiated under his administration, as part of his campaign tour across Haa Dhaal atoll, in a bid for re-election in this year’s Presidential election, slated for September 9.
The government has reached a significant milestone in bringing quality healthcare services to the island with the completion of the projects, expected to provide immense benefits to local communities.
Featuring a wide array of amenities designed to enhance the provision of healthcare to the island residents including an administrative area for managing healthcare employees, a public health unit providing preventative and promotional health services, a counselling room, a meeting room, a medical store, a general store, and a garage space, the newly extended Vaikaradhoo health center was constructed by Perfect Malafehi Maldives private limited.
The project mirrors the incumbent’s commitment to quality and excellence in the delivery of healthcare services nationwide.
The government-led initiatives have ensured that the quality of life of island residents has been enhanced and they have been empowered to lead dignified lives.
President Solih has been officially inaugurating several development initiatives that have been completed across the scatter of islands comprising the Maldives, as part of his campaign tours.
The incumbent administration has made significant strides towards the equitable development of all inhabited islands nationwide without discrimination, under the able leadership of President Solih.
